This Boy Stays Up Until 4 A.M. Every Night to Check His Diabetic Girlfriend’s Blood Sugar,The Story:
When people are in love, they tend to do special things for their significant other in order to show their affection.
A teenage boy, Kylle Cota, expresses his love toward his girlfriend by staying up until 4 a.m. every night. His girlfriend, Kortney Reid, suffers from type 1 diabetes.
She needs to monitor her blood sugar on a regular basis to make sure that her levels are good. Even though she has never asked her boyfriend to do so, Kylle checks her blood sugar levels every night while she is asleep.
It seems unusual that a teenage boy can be so mature, caring, and compassionate, but Kylle willingly does this so that his girlfriend can get a full night of uninterrupted sleep.
In a Facebook post, Kylle explained that he doesn’t sleep much anyway because he has insomnia. He added that he does this because he loves her and constantly worries about her.
On December 27th, Kylle posted a video in which he is testing Kortney’s blood sugar levels in the middle of the night while she is sleeping. The video instantly went viral, and it got more than 12 million views in just one day.
